85% of all pastors in Latin America, Asia, and Africa have no formal training

2 Million pastors have less than one hour of Biblical training

Many of these pastors are starving for theological and pastoral help

Who will train them?

Working with Global Training Network and ministry partners, Chris and Tara Daukas are training the untrained to reach the unreached.

FAQs

  • There are twelve 10 lesson classes that make up the first certification of training. This is comprised of classes on the nature of the gospel, OT and NT survey, Leadership in the church, personal evangelism, spiritual disciplines, hermeneutics and homiletics, marriage and family, and others. There is room to customize the second batch of classes based on what each group needs.

  • GTN is a 501c3 overseen and run by a board of directors. All contributions run through their central office. The board approvals a contract for salary and distributes funds based on the contract. All reimbursements for ministry expenses must be documented and submitted in order to qualify. Additionally, GTN submits to yearly audits and has achieved the highest ratings from ECFA and 4 stars from Charity Navigator.

  • Really, it’s more joy than duty! Our partnerships are completely voluntary, but they are extremely important. We ask each team member to commit to prayer for us, for our training teams, and the pastor-students and wives in the training.

In addition, we ask each partner to consider how much they can contribute to the ministry of training pastors. These contributions are processed on the GTN site for oversight and accountability.

Other opportunities to help might include networking for new ministry partners, using skills to help the ministry forward.

  • We are based out of Phoenix Arizona, but our ministry will take us into South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Our 2024 plans include training in Bogota, Costa Rica, Italy, Zambia, and possibly Sri Lanka.
